Baltimore, MD asked in Business Formation, Business Law, Civil Litigation and Contracts for Pennsylvania

Q: Being threatened to be sued. Could he sue? He didn't follow through and he kept waiting on his contract being so e

We never got a contract but I have messages stating the obligations requested. This was for dance performances for a big event. He knew I was using experienced dancers & students. Only difference is that instead of 22 people (which he did not specify a specific number until the most recent contact) we ended up with 14 which would still fill a stage and he provided 1/2 the space he initially mentioned during phone conversation. Lots of conversation on phone but I did have messages. I was upset and posted what happened without mentioning the names of anyone. I did add a review on Facebook (not realizing it would actually going in the newsfeed section) talking about what the promises of the company and how refused his obligations. He sent a threatening voicemail about contacting his lawyer and I have until 6pm to remove everything. I did before 5pm.
