Q: I sold a puppy with a contract that required puppy to be spayed, how can I request a proof from them?

Contract required puppy to be spayed after her first heat (which would be around 11-14 month old) to avoid potential problems in large breed dogs. Puppy also needed last set of shots and buyer informed me this was done , however per reference of their vet they gave me no shots were giving to a puppy. I contacted buyer to make sure they were doing okay and for whatever reason they could not keep up with a commitment to care for the puppy I would gladly take the puppy back and offer money back. They told me if try to enforce anything or contact them again they will file a harassment report on me and that they will be spaying the puppy before puppy turns 6 month old. What can I do in this situation , I do not want to have to deal with false harassment report done by them but Im very concerned about puppies well being.

A: everything depends upon the wording of the contract you have with the people. Typically when you sell something your right to be legally concerned about it is gone. However, your contract could have or may have covered this very situation. However, you need to be sitting in a lawyers office in your area and not online as there is nothing we can do to help you in this situation. Go see a lawyer to have the contract reviewed.
