Q: my wife left about 12 years ago I had a lawyer years ago how can I legally end this ridiculous marriage.

I had a lawyer she had a lawyer her lawyer dumped her years ago I feel I should easily be able to get out of this relationship its not a marriage she has been engaged at least once during this time if not twice and lived with other men during this time.

A: Have ur lawyer proceed or get a new one. A 12 year old case is likely dismissed.

A: If a Judgment for Dissolution was never entered back then, you will have to start all over again. However, it may not be as simple as you hope. She has some claim to your 401K, home equity, and other assets, and her equitable share will be determined by the judge.
