Atlanta, GA asked in Landlord - Tenant for Georgia

Q: Renting in Georgia, and have no heat due to a broken furnace, with temps between 35-45 degrees. What can I do legally?

Furnace has finally been fixed, but my landlord knowingly let me go 4 days without heat with temps in the 30s, getting down to 55 in my apartment. He said maintenance would fix it before the temps dropped, but got pushed back by 5 days during the cold spell. A few people told me this was illegal, and add this to the broken a/c, broken stove, broken washer, broken dryer, outlets that dont work, faucets that don't work, no hot water (most have been fixed at this point) and 3 warnings from the city stating my stove, furnace, and hot water heater were fire hazards, and not to be turned on until replaced, I figured I may be entitled to some sort of settlement. Is this something I should pursue?
