Gibsonia, PA asked in Workers' Compensation for Pennsylvania

Q: Why would a WC Judge at a Supersedeas Hearing ask how much I receive on SSDI? Is that any of his business?

A: Everything is the Judge's business. I would suggest you ask your lawyer since they were there and would have a better idea as to why it was being asked. If I had to guess, and this would be a guess, the judge is considering granting Supersedeas but is concerned whether or not you would have a source of income if the workers' compensation checks stop.

A: I agree with Timothy. The best person to ask is your attorney, who was present for the hearing. The theory Timothy mentions is certainly possible.
