Hercules, CA asked in Criminal Law for California

Q: UNSURE about the release date,

tentative date of release was august 26, booking date was 9/28, as per court order that equals the time served and the probation program he was left 6months left so not sure if it is counted from date of booking or date he was sentenced, coz in my counting he should be released 3/2018 not 4/2018, if the information just in case is incorrect how can we contest it, what process, thank you in advance

(UNSURE about the release date, OVR GUIDE SAYS release date was said to be Apr 26, 2018, and as of his paperworks says approximately 16 months. which includes halftime and some of the Work program he rendered. He just want to clarify with all your due respect is that usually counted from the date from the date he was booked, or the date, he was sentenced.)
