Q: Can a I get a ticket through the mail for no id, when initial reason for pulling me over was dismissed? N.J

Cop pulled me over for 38 in a 35. I forgot my drivers license in my other work pants.it was 530 am I was on my way to go snow plow some accounts. Pulled me over in my work truck, inspected the entire outside of the truck and gave me a warning for "Speeding", and said he would mail me a ticket for not carrying a license? what should I do

A: Yes he can mail you a ticket and yes you should pay it, if you can. Not worth going to court for something your guilty of.
