Q: I live with my sister I've been here 2months I have 3 dogs that they r trying 2 take n dump somewhere can I sue ?

Other than living in their yard and them buying the dogfood for them. I take care of them I do everything for them I walk them I let them out on the chains they bought b made them stay on except at night they stay in the kennels I brought with them I shovel their poop I love them etch if they took them to a field n just dropped them off without my knowledge or permission can I sue them.. These dogs are like my babies I love them and have had them since they were born when they first moved here and had to learn to be outside dogs they did dig holes which I filled and once they got out of the kennel and tore open a bag of concrete and a bag of charcoal and that was it I just want to know if they get rid of them if I have a case? We live in Louisiana

A: If they are pure breds, you paid for obedience school or had expensive collars you can sue for conversion for that amount. You can however, have them criminally charged with theft and cruelty.

A: If you live on your sister's property, you have to live by her rules. If she says you can't have dogs while living with her, you would either have to move or find somewhere else to keep the dogs. She can't just take your property (the dogs) and dump them, however. You could press criminal charges against her. She would have to follow the law and legally evict you if you refuse to follow her rules.
