Q: What can an exectuor of esate do

Can some one that has become the excuter of eatate give you a 5 day notice to pay or get out...i live in dallas and my lanlord died october 31 st and her god daughter came and dropped a note in the mail box stating i had to pay the money or get put so they can sell the home..is that legal because she wrote the letter her self not an attorney. Is she allowed to put someone out in 5 or 10 days...the house os still in probate
