Clementon, NJ asked in Family Law for Pennsylvania

Q: Is there anything else w can do? He is in county court

My wife's ex husband has not paid more then 30 dollars in child support in 1.5 years. We all live in PA. He keeps telling the court he has a new job and he will pay but fails to do so. He tells us he is working both for cash and at miscilaneous places. To avoid jail in the last court session he promised to pay arrears, it has been another month now and he has not paid a dime. He is over 15000 dollars behind in paying. Child support court has been going on in county court now for over a year, he has never gone to jail, but fails to keep his promises in court. He has custody 1 out of 7 days. Is there anything else she can do so that he may take child support more seriously?

A: Get in touch with your local Domestic relations Office and have them file another contempt petition. This time, if you haven't before, go to court and make your position known to the judge. I have no idea why he hasn't been incarcerated if he hasn't followed the court's orders.
