Q: Hi, I got a ticket for not yielding to a cop vehicle and marked court appearance required.
I was waiting at a red signal and this cop vehicle came behind and signalled for way.there was a car parked on my right and hence I could not immediately move to the right.So i had to check the crosswalk to ensure no one is crossing and then moved forward and gave way to the vehicle.but the cope came out and said you didnt yield for an emergency vehicle and gave me the ticket :(
A: Unfortunately it is your word against the cops and he will win, unless you have a good lawyer on your side.
