Q: Why isn’t emancipation no longer recognized in Ohio? Even if the parent agrees to it.
I am 16, I have a Job, my mother is deceased, my father is incarcerated. I do not live with my legal guardian. My guardian agreed to let me get Emancipated. I have the money to petition and file for it.
