Ceres, CA asked in Traffic Tickets and Appeals / Appellate Law for California

Q: I. Hadicap citation, didn't station myself, I'm very I'll, I just wanted to drop off children and was having an emergenc

I'm severely I'll, was having an emergency while with my small children. Parked in front of my house closest to the door due to my pain plus also needed to get my children inside. I proceeded inside and was in agony pain for about 1.20 minutes, went back outside to move car into my parking spot and I saw that I had just received a ticket. My new neighbor that does not know my condition called police. I appealed and it says upheld. The ticket is large for me, im not currently working, plus I'm waiting for my first surgery soon, doctor said about three weeks. To heal from the first surgery is two months. I can't be going back in forth to courts, plus my pain is so personal I don't really wish to share it with the world. What can I do. I don't have a handicap tag, my situation is recent with many tests performed, just over three months. I have never parked in an unauthorized parking, ive never had tickets, violations, etc. I was having an emergency while with my small children.

A: the traffic cop did the right thing...........now when you explain your situation to the judge lets see if s/he does too.

i would think 1 hr 20 min would be to long a time to be inside and that you should have moved it.
