Q: Hello. I have a child with special needs and I am filing for divorce in GA. If I gross more income, can i still get CS

I gross 10000 more than him but net about $8000 less. I pay all insurance and basically everything for our son.

A: The non custodial parent always has to pay child support, even if earning less money than the custodial parent.

A: He'll still pay child support, the question is more or less "how much?" Talk to a local attorney about representation in your divorce, as there can be some very complex issues that have to be addressed when special needs children are involved.
