Chandler, AZ asked in Employment Law for Arizona

Q: Told to lift up shirt, drop my pants and underwear to my knees, turn in a circle and urinate in a cup for a random UA

I went for a random drug test required by my employer, i passed the drug screen but failed on the breathalyzer test after attending a family gathering. again On 2/9/18 i was sent for a random retest. was called in instructed to empty my pockets and fill the cup to a certain level. I went into the restroom and urinated into the cup. Before i could get my pants buttoned, i got a knock on the door telling me to stop and open the door.

I was done anyway. I opened the door a man came into the bathroom and said that it was a controlled sample and he had to be in the bathroom with me. At that time, i was instructed to pull my shirt up past my chest, drop my pants turn in a circle and finish my sample. I already filled the cup i told him. I told him that i will not get half naked and dance in a circle for anyone. So i left. I felt degrated and humiliated.

Can my employer order a test like this for a simple random?
