San Jose, CA asked in Probate for California

Q: In 2015 my father past in calif leaving nothing to his wife of 9 years or my three siblings. I'm the only one in his wil

My dad and wife lived in wash state until 3 months prior to dads death when he had me bring him home with me to california. My brother had himself appointed administrator stating there was no will and he was not a felon. We took him to court and the judge removed him and made me administer along with the will being instated. Myy brother appealed again the judge ruled in my favor. As of 2017 my brother is using all my dad's work history as his own on Facebook and other places. Is there any way to stop this? My second question is more important Q : My dad worked for a company over 30 years that paid him monthly stipends on money he had already earned that stopped immediately. The company he work for is part of a messoth lawsuit filed by me on all of our behalf. The company refuses to give me any information on the money already earned by my father until the lawsuit is resolved. Is there anything I can do about either one of these situations?

A: You may be able to bring a lawsuit against your brother on behalf your father's estate for defamation.

If you are a party to a lawsuit, then you can send discovery requests for his employment information.

You should find an attorney in your area to help you with these items.
