Q: Is there any laws saying I don't have rights if I live out of state and theres an order saying I get visitation?
Im being told by the children father that I have ti live in the state to get my visitation the case is in Florida I live in Tennessee but theres a court order saying I get visitation but the father keeps saying the judge said I have no rights because I don't live in the state. No where in the order or paperwork from the judge does it state that I have to be in the state of Florida can he get in trouble for not following the order?
A: The children's' father is incorrect. He can certainly get in trouble for disobeying the order, should you ask the judge to sanction him.
