A: In theory yes. However a realtor should make such disclosures in the contract. In theory the realtor is two people in the transaction. The realtor for the buyer and the buyer. Typically the realtor who brings the buyer gets paid a portion of the selling realtor's commission. Example: most realtors charge a percentage. Let's say it is 10%. If the selling or listing realtor finds the buyer, then he would get the whole 10%. If another realtor brings the buyer, then the buyers realtor would get the agreed percentage as outlined on the MLS listing. So bottom line, the buyers realtor is not taking extra money from you but getting a portion of the original fee you agreed to pay when you hired the listing realtor.

Hope this helps and good luck,
