Q: What could happen if your dog bites an uninvited person in your house

My landlord is supposedly in the process of trying to evict me and for the past few days he's been trying to get into the house useing keys that are false due to me changeing the locks.. he has talked about useing saws he even cut the lock off my mailbox. Anyhow inside I have my dog who is not mean but he is very protective if the landlord DOES mannage to get in and my dog bites him.. can me or my dog get into trouble?

A: If you are lawfully in possession of the premises, and he is uninvited, then the strict liability dog bite statute does not apply.
