Q: Does my ex husband have to pay child support for those months that he gets three paychecks in?
My ex husband deposits child support every time he gets paid. Twice a month. He tells me that the months he gets paid three times he does not have to as the amount per month has already been meant. I have reached out to my attorney with no luck so I was trying to find out if this was indeed true.

A: What he is saying is probably true. Child support is normally a set figure per month. If it is automatically deducted from his paycheck (or he pays every payday), the deductions are calculated so as to total the monthly amount.
