Q: Hate crime victim,medical malpractice lawsuit filed in Oregon,can pro bono lawyer from CA try the case

When I woke in hospital,first thing I see was three leaders of the skinhead type of guy who beat me to death in my hospital room,why was they given permission to access? (Was the nurse paid off)why police never came to my hospital room?was anybody arrested?do they have a police report?hospital didn't tend to my injuries and said "we gonna put u on train to San Jose maybe u can get OBAMA there"by 3pm I was on train ,no food,money,water, and no one to assist me, and I was followed by a person who was apart of the skinhead type?(when I was wheelchair out to taxi,i was afraid that the people who did this , could be waiting to finish the job(hospital had no regards for my safety)why they didn't clean me up,and why never seen a doctor?is this negligence malpractice?do I have a case?

A: You don't have any malpractice damages, e.g., doctor amputates wrong limb, or prescribes wrong medication which causes death. Depending on where the hospital is located, you may want to make a complaint with the licensing authority about unrelated persons entering your room, lack of care.

calif lawyers do not know the law of another state.

sure sounds like negligent conduct but without more info not sure if malpractice.

you should be consulting with lawyers from Oregon.

a pro bono lawyer might be admitted for purposes of the trial but may need an Oregon lawyer with him.

if it is negligence of any kind that has value the lawyer you hire will probably handle it on a contingency
