Springfield, OR asked in Car Accidents and Personal Injury

Q: I had a stroke about one and a half years ago from which I have fully recovered i drive a car with no assistance.

Before the stroke I drove both vehicles owned by my significant other. Subsequent to my stroke she removed my name from her insurance policy, clllaiming that if I got in an accident she could be financially wiped out. Is this true and how can i protect both she and if so?

A: No and yes. You protect both of you by having the car in your name, getting it insured, maybe getting an umbrella policy. However first why not speak with an insurance agent and an attorney?
