Q: I live in Louisiana my ex is requesting registration of child custody in Oregon what does that mean

I was incarcerated and sent my daughter to live with her dad in Oregon I was gone for 16 months I agreed to let my daughter stay in school there and do joint custody getting her in the summer I just don't want to mess myself over on this we have a parenting plan to where she stays there in school year and comes to Louisiana in summer and neither of us is to pay child support we support her needs as she is with us and I provide transportation to and from Louisiana I don't want to sign this paper and my ex in Oregon try anything stupid my daughter is fixing to be 11 for 9 years she didn't know her dad he was on child support currently paying off the rest of his areers my daughter's 9 birthday she wanted to know her dad I found him asked him to be part of her life he took her to great wolf lodge and I agreed to give her 1 school term with him then when she was supposed to come back home I went to prison now this
