Dayton, OH asked in Family Law, Child Custody and Domestic Violence for Ohio

Q: Do I have to send my kids home to there dads if they are scared to go because they're scared he'll beat them?

Earlier this week I got ahold of Children Service for my kids sake cause they had witnessed their father and his girlfriend get into a fight where he had body slammed her and she had tried stabbing him with a knife. I had my kids go into Children Services to tell someone there about what they saw. Somehow dad found out about what the kids had said and called them and went into their schools to tell them to lie to Children Services, but they didn't and now they are terrified to go back home to him. Am I able to keep them from him until I can mange to get some legal advice?

A: Talk to children's services so they can investigate. Use the Find a Lawyer tab to retain a local family law attorney.
