Dover, OH asked in Family Law and Civil Rights for Ohio

Q: What are my rights when it comes to CPS?

My step-daughter lied to the school and CPS. I have never hurt this child. CPS talked to her and her dad and I was immediately thrown out of the house saying I was a danger to this child without even doing an investigation to see what was going on. CPS called me a liar and said they believed everything this child said. Even was telling me that I had no rights in my house when it came to this child that I had to put up with whatever she did and "deal" with it. Was even telling my husband how our divorce would go. Since I have been out of the house, this child has gotten much worse than what she was. My husband and I are still seeing each other and I want to go back home what are my rights? Oh and I should mention there is no paperwork from the court or CPS stating that I have to move out.
