Q: Charged w/ expired tag & possession of weed. Violation of parole and probation? How? How long to serve time?

Male was charged with possession of weed even though it was not in his vehicle. He has one month left on parole and hasn't been in any trouble since he was released. He was informed that he will have to sit in jail and has Court on June 22nd. What may happe know in court? How could he violate parole AND probation at the same time? How long would he have to serve?
