Visalia, CA asked in Family Law and Domestic Violence for California

Q: Does my husband have to share his money with me? We live in California.

We've been married 8 yrs. He is a self employed contractor. I have some mental issues that keeps me from a steady job but I cook, clean, do laundry etc. I can't get help with my medical because he wont disclose his income. He says its his money. He only puts out money for bills and dinner. My drivers license has been taken away. I don't want a divorce. I love him but I don't know what to do. I have nowhere to go.
