Q: I'm renting a house for $700 a month. And my landlord won't fix anything. I ask and she refuses.
Our light don't work. Wall textures are falling off and ceiling poporn texture is falling off. I have 3 kids and we went a year with out heat because they wouldn't fix heater. We only have 1 heat source for a 2 story house and landlord had a matinence guy cut the gas pipes upstairs for kids bedrooms. If I refuse to pay rent, she threatens me and says Ill take you to court. The house we live in was condemned in 1950s-1960s. I want to move out but she won't let us move. What do I need to do?
