A: A DWI stays on your MVC record for you life. That being said if you go 10 years without another DWI conviction your next DWI will be considered the same as your last DWI in the offense number.

A: There's a step down after 10 yrs for sentencing purposes so you're not enhanced status otherwise it's always there. I've seen abstracts with DUI's back to the 70's.
