Q: child support

i am currently paying $90 a week child support for my 8 year old son i made a appointment to go back to domestics because i think i am paying too much,i live in Pennsylvania and i just read that you have to have custody 146 overnights to qualify for partial custody, i have him 144 nights i am thinking i should cancel the meeting because i could wind up paying more and can i cancel a meeting already scheduled?

A: That could be a smart idea. It would be wise to consult with an experienced family law attorney in your area to have her/him run the support numbers for you. And yes, you can withdraw your petition. Domestic Relations can assist you with doing that. If it comes down to the wire and you're in a conference or hearing, you can even drop it then but I suggest that you do so ahead of time.
