Albany, GA asked in Probate for Georgia

Q: CURRENTLY, HAVE A QUIT CLAIM DEED WITH MY BROTHER FROM A PIECE OF PROPERTY THAT WAS WILL TO US FROM MY FATHER PASSED.

THE PROPERTY I FEEL THAT WAS QUIT CLAIM DEED TO MY BROTHER WAS GOTTEN BY FRAUD, I DIDN'T TOTALLY UNDERSTAND ALL THE TOPIC'S, I WAS TOLD BECAUSE YOU DON'T CURRENTLY HAVE A JOB AND YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS NOT UP TO PAR AND THE PROPERTY CURRENTLY IS IN NEED OF WORK. HE HAS TWO PROPERTIES AND ALSO HAS RETIRED WITH MORE THAN 34 YEARS ON HIS JOB, HE KNOWS MORE AND IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR HIM TO GET THIS LOAN WITHOUT ME. I, TOOK CARE OF MY FATHER FROM AUGUST 2015 TO DECEMBER 2015 AND RESIDED AT THE PROPERTY UNTIL HE PASSED. MY BOTHER RESIDES IN THE ATLANTA AREA WITH HIS FAMILY, HOWEVER HE IS THE EXECUTOR OF THE WILL THAT MY FATHER LEFT. AND IT WAS EXECUTED. NOW, BECAUSE HE IS IN TOTALLY CONTROL HE FEELINGS AS THOUGH I NEED TO BE OUT OF THE RESIDENT. I FEEL LIKE HE HAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION, BECAUSE OF MY KNOWLEGE AND HE CAN CONTROL THE ENTIRE SITUATION. PLEASE HELP ME. THANKS. REGGIE

A: Answer is still the same. If the deed is in his name, it's his property to do with as he pleases.

A: You need to contact a lawyer in the jurisdiction where the will was probated and review whether your brother properly fulfilled his obligations as executor. You are not required to sign a quit claim deed, which gives someone else your interest in real property.
