Q: Son's father has not reached out or been around for over a month now, what happens now? we have a court order that ....

this court order allows the dad to see my son for a period of 2 hours min. every Saturday. He's also missed a couple of visits and is behind on child support for over a year now.

A: What do you want to happen? The court is probably not going to eliminate his custodial time as it's pretty minimal as it is. The court can't force him to take advantage of it either. On the child support, unless he's paying, the system should be sending out notice to him about his failure to comply with the court order and setting him up for a conference or even a contempt hearing. You can contact your DRO caseworker to find out what's going on with the support case.
