Schuylkill Haven, PA asked in Criminal Law for Pennsylvania

Q: Can I be Placed for failing a psycho sexual exam?

I was tried in court for something that I didnt do. My attorney and I didnt have a solid enough case to fight the charges so I have taken a plea bargain in juvenile court and was found "guilty" which meant that I got only one harrassment charge and I was required to go to a psycho sexual analysis. I simply told the man who was doing my test that I did not commit the crime and that I simply took the bargain because there was no way I was winning in court. He went on to tell me that he cant help me and that he will send a report back to the Juvenile Department stating that he cant help someone who didnt do the crime. He also explained to me that I might be facing placement for lying to the judge about the situation. I am currently 18 years old and the crime that I supposedly would have taken place when I was 17 years old. Would the court still be able to take me for something like this, or is it more likely that I then get charged for lying to the judge?

A: Talk to your lawyer, who can then talk to the folks in the juvenile department. Cases like this are often location-specific, so knowing the local practices and people is the key to navigating your case and minimizing your consequences. Best of luck to you.
