Q: Kids dad been on child support since 2012 after child support increase 3 days later dad applied for custody using drugs

Now dad is saying b/c I tested positive for thc I have to be on supervised visitation. Went to judge office staff said if judge didn’t order don’t worry. But he won’t give me my kids what can I do??

A: If you have a judgment giving you domiciliary custody of the kids, you can have the local law enforcement help you recover the children. If there's no judgment, both of you have equal rights to the children, and there's likely nothing you can do but file for custody. You should consult with a family law as soon as possible. 1) Get 3 clean monitored drug tests,

2) Hire an attorney to represent you at the custody hearing and

3) Attorney can also file for Contempt and for a Warrant to return the kids.
