Q: Probation violations

Hi, My question is about a friend of mine. In 2017 he got an A misnomer battery charge. He served 27 actual days in jail and was placed on probation for a year. He violated probation twice and was sentenced to 46 more days in jail . His probation had expired while he was in jail and was placed back on probation for 90days to pay off fees and completely a class. Well he went through a divorce during this time and violated a 3rd time for drinking and fail a urine screen. He now has a warrant with no bond . Is there anyway he can get out of this and since the probation expired can he do more than the 90 days that was added? Can he go to rehab or what should he do?

A: Likely the probation was tolled and therefore it had not expired so he can still face consequences for the violation and he can serve whatever is remaining of the original sentence.
