Tampa, FL asked in Child Custody for Georgia

Q: As the custodian parent does that mean I have sole custody. Child has not been legitimized.

The father has never provided child support and just started w/visits this past summer. He is now making threats to take our son and making false claims of abuse. He has called social services before but the case was closed immediately after a review of our home and lifestyle. I want to cut communication and visits as he has been harassing me and it is just too much stress. Our son came home in tears after he took him out of state without my knowledge and made our child lie about it. What rights do I have? Do I have to communicate with him or allow any additional visits. His father lives in Alabama and has been banned from seeing another child due by a permanent order of restraint. Can he take our son.

A: Yes, you have sole custody. He has no rights if he's not been legitimized.
