Q: Purchase agreement expired tenants or buyers if buyers stays in the home with no lease buyer or tenant?

The agreement states they are purchasers the seller abandon the home buyer made repairs sale fell tnrough a year after are the buyer s tenants? Sellers refused to avcept offer evicted and buyers sweat equity of a year cleqning the pkqce up and now has a value of 80k more from buyers work efforts sellers did nothing for over 2 years to the home and left the state what if any rights do buyers have to recoup losses are they tenants or buyers no lease a year later. What law does it fall under for rights to recover damages and repairs made.

Buyer may have a claim for unjust enrichment in equity if nothing else, or there may be some sort of breach of contract, etc. IF they were tenants, then there may be landlord liability claims as well (1 year statute of limitations).
