Q: I was charged with $800 for paraphernalia. Court and due date is Dec 2018. I started to seek therapy and help

this year for an Eating disorder i have had since i was little, and I am also diagnosed depressed with anxiety...I do not work or have income at the moment What can I do about the paraphernalia charge If i am unable to recover that amount...Thank you...

p.s. i do use the marijuana for nausea purposes which is another reason i started to seek help Is because i have episodes of excruciating nausea that makes me desperate for a hott shower and Or Marijuana for full 100% pain relief, anxiety contributes to this pain of mine i think....

A: Sorry to hear about your mental health issues keeping you from earning an income. It appears you are referring to the assessed fines and fees given the outcome of your case? If so, make certain you do go back to Court on your due date in December and ask the Judge for more time to pay. Hopefully, your financial situation will change for the better in the future.
