Q: Is it lawful for a police officer to arrest me after I’ve cleared this ticket ?(24004cvc)
I was given this ticket back in June, I stopped operating my vehicle as told from the police officer, after receiving my ticket in the mail, I paid the bail to clear the ticket. Now last weekend I was pulled over by the SAME cop, without even asking for my license or checking my record and clearance of ticket, he arrested me, impounded my vehicle and I was in the county jail until later that night is this lawful at all?

were you advised paying the bail would clear tik?
it may have been cleared but not in the computer?
if you have a court date show proof of payment and i am sure the judge will dismiss.
