Q: me and my sons mother have joint custody but she hasnt seen him in 3 years how do i go about getting full custody?

A: That is a good question.

Custody is now called, "legal decision-making authority" and refers to major decisions regarding medical care, education, personal care and religion.

Visitation is now called, "parenting time."

In Arizona, if you want to change these, a Petition for Modification should be filed.
