Q: I have had a whole life insurance policy now for over 25 years.
My agent has now retired since. Now the agent assigned to me gives me a call and says the cost of insurance has gone up and there is going to be a change in my premium. I thought you paid 1 amount for whole life and that never changes. Why now after my first agent retires I get a call asking for more money?
A: Your policy governs. Call the actual insurance company. Ask for the legal counsel's office.
