Evans, GA asked in Divorce for Georgia

Q: Ex trying to rid self of all marital assets prior to filing divorce? Including my only needed means to provide:car repo?

While i tried to pack prior to leaving he was insistent on selling the house & property. Threatend to call dfacs on me for leaving. Refused to sign self written aggreement i wrote asking for car and insurance coverage as well as payment, will work together & help with asap...and a few other things. Refused to help pay school fees due or supplies needed at new school after moving. Dropped insurance, plans on dropping car loan and have repoed. Forcing me into even more severe financial crisis and prevention of being able to provide for my kids; the car being my only need and entitlement to TRY to get back up on my feet. "Im predicting-him trying to prove unfit parenting and living situation as well as the inability to properly provide for my children without having any other choice that IS forced out of my control!" I haven't been able to even start looking for a job, lawyer, home, etc. Due to having to pick up bills he forced and refused to pay. Without contact or concern for kids or me

A: I'm not sure what the question is here. Are you asking is he able to get rid of assets before the divorce? You should consult with an attorney who can review the facts of your case in detail and then help you plan the proper course of action. -Homer P. Jordan IV, Esq. 404-620-1558 HomerJordan.com
