Q: The father of my daughters is an active E7 in the army. He has never pay child support throw court just directly to me

We have shared custody who he has never followed and now he is holding the child support money and threatening me to take my daughter away for not been able to support them. I have never had a child support modification. I live in Florida and he got divorce in Texas but I have never lived in Texas and now I don’t know how to transfer the case. Please help! I don’t know how to start or what to do!

A: It's unclear what you want to know. Is there some sort of child support order requiring him to pay you child support? it doesn't appear that the Texas courts would have jurisdiction to award child custody, the children not having lived there. Are you saying that he is threatening to take the children because you can't support them? Perhaps you should sue him in Florida, for increased child support.
