Q: i was thrown out of my wheelchair on a city bus that had to brake so hard because a car cut him off, do i have a case.
he slammed the brakes so hard I was completely thrown out of my wheelchair and landed on the floor up by the bus driver, my PCA (personal care assist) was also thrown from her seat she was not in a wheelchair. We both have visual injuries and are going to hospital in a few hours to get looked at. is there someone who can represent me on a contingency basis and how do i contact such an attorney.
A: Possibly though these cases can be difficult. Contact the State of Washington Assn for Justice for the county where it happened--they give free consults. They can tell you which insurance will pay which bills.
