Q: Can I get a felony exponged this was on 2011 ? And im havi g trouble getting jobs im worried!!

He stole my phone he was in drugs so i went to his house n got the phone. My mom n his dad were witness so he punch me and i just defend myself back, he call the cops and they took me i got out on bond !! But i missed court because i forgot so later on ..2012 @ nov my friend got pulled over because he had weed so tby took us and i stayed there for a month because of my recent case with my ex n court..so thy told me to plead guilty because they saw me hitting back ..can i still do sometbing about it i been asking different lawyers i want to get a decent job he knows he did wrong and he was trying to help me out but im so worried he is not a good guy he always making me look bad..i need help please !!

A: You can get it sealed if you took deferred.

A: If you entered a guilty plea then, under current law, you can't get it expunged UNLESS you are first pardoned by the Governor of Texas or the conviction is overturned on appeal.
