Q: Is this theft?
I purchased a 2003 jeep cherokee from a friend on 9/8/18 for $1600. We wrote a bill of sale, and I explained to him that I wanted to get insurance on Monday and would make arrangements to get it. It has been a week and he will not return my calls or text me back. I cannot get the keys to get the vehicle I have paid for. What can I do??
A: If you have the vehicle and the bill of sale then register the car in your name and call a locksmith.
