Atlanta, GA asked in Criminal Law for Georgia

Q: If someone puts on facebook to shoot the next postal employee that comes to their door and touches the doorknob.

A situation a person is claiming a postal employee touched their doorknob, its a big made up story that she cant keep straight! The employee was trying to deliver a certified letter. On Facebook the thing she is clear about is she will shoot her 380 on the next postal employee that "touches" her doorknob. i have screen shots and all, its like its not being taking seriously and I feel as a postal employee thats a threat to do physically/deadly harm to all postal employees, cause of course others have chimed in as well

A: You didn't ask a question. The threat was not directed at a particular individual for the purpose of terrorizing which is a required element for terrorist threats. I am not sure why a postal employee would put their hand on the door knob to deliver mail.
