Mcdonough, GA asked in Child Custody for Georgia

Q: Can a felon just released from prison take my child away? We are still married.

I also left the state with my child 3 months before his release. I was forced to stay with his parents out of fear.. will I have to fight custody in Ga if I moved to a new state 9 months ago. We never divorced I wasn't allowed. Sounds stupid but I was afraid. Now he's out divorcing me and filed for full custody.

A: It is unlikely he will get custody, but you need to hire an experienced family law attorney to assist you in your case.
