Q: Can you change your judge on your family court case?
I was awarded joint custody with visitation after filing a motion in May 2017. Filed a second motion in May 2018 to stop my ex from moving kids to TX and modify time share. Was awarded 50/50 time share and kids not allowed to move. Recently heard my ex was filing a motion and getting a lawyer to have the judge changed on our case and “take” away my custody so she can move to TX. Can she do this? Neither party has had a lawyer present any of the 4 times we have been to family court.
