Q: I have a case against someone threatening to distribute my photos that I sent him. does he have the right to do so?

The man has used my pictures to blackmail me for over 18 months. When I called the police they confiscated his mobile phone. They did not find my pictures and very few chats between me and him. However, one of the messages they found is him telling me that he recovered the pictures and made a hundred copies and that he told his friend about me, and me telling him that I will do whatever he wants me to do. Will he be convicted? I am really stressed as this is the first time I will need to attend court. Police are not collaborating with me. I don't know who is going to represent me in court. and my counselor said that he could get away with it as his lawyer may claim a copy right of these photos. Is this even possible? He is not in any one of these pictures. Only me. can you please answer my questions? many thanks.

Note, I have also reported sexual assault but this matter is still under investigation and he is yet to be charged.
